Ur hate for Greta Van Fleet is pathetic. Go find something better to do. U & ur "band" have a long way to go before u can even hold a candle to them
hate is probably too strong a word, they obv have musical talent and it’s no discussion whether or not the dude can fucking sing or not. and they’re obviously enjoying what they’re doing wish is always good. it’s just sad that they think that they’re are on something musical crusade while making stuff that’s predictable, tame, safe, passe, and most of all boring in my opinion.
and as for my band: yes, we do have a long way to go. i’ve only been playing guitar for about four years and with the band for two years. but we’re getting tighter and tighter every time we play, we’re putting more focus on songwriting and what to do performance wise and more and more people are starting to show up when we play.
am i not allowed to critique an artist until i’m as big or bigger than them? even considering that one of the biggest factor in “making it” in music is as something simple as dumb luck? what about people that don’t play music at all, shouldn’t they be able to express themselves as well?
